On Every Street

On Every Street - Karina Halle Oh man the tortured romance! Javier and Ellie have some issues. I didn't think I was going to like Javier, or care about their relationship but kudos to Karina Halle for making me care and wanting them to figure it out. I was also worried going into the book that this wasn't really the book that I needed after reading Sins and Needles. I wanted to know what happens next, not before, but after reading this little novella, I think the author is right we needed some background info to really care about what is going to happen next. I'm still team Cameron, but she makes a pretty compelling case for Ellie redeeming Javier's soul. Also- I'm dying to know the reason for his behavior at the end of the book. In fact, I really, really wanted alternating POV, but I guess I'll have to just keeping on wanting, maybe the next book? The book lost a star for the info dump at the start of the novella where we get spoon fed all the info we delicately learned over the course of the whole book in Sins and Needles just because I think the author wanted it to be a stand-alone novel.
