I think I adore Stephanie Perkins. Anna and the French Kiss was sweet and wonderful. This book was equally sweet and wonderful. Just a pleasant read. Lola and Cricket are both very interesting characters and their romance is pitch-perfect. Perkins really has an ear for the voice of teenagers. One thing that I liked best about this book were how quirky the characters were without becoming caricatures of real people. Lola having two Dad's was also a nice touch. More books should explore modern family dynamics.
