This dragged. I couldn't get into it. Lots of info dumping with the characters backstory at the beginning. I beasted through the LONG prologue and I through the first chapters of hero and heroine POVs, but it lost me somewhere after the heroes met. Actually what lost me was the use of the phrase "sweet girl" as the hero referred to the girl in his head. Multiple times. Multiple times in a the span of a few pages. I then read reviews that said that the heroine starts referring to the hero as "sweet boy." I just can't. It feels like nails on a chalkboard.
