Wow! This is excellence in contemporary YA romance. It's just the kind of book I've been looking for all summer. I loved, loved, loved Jase and Sam's romance. It's really just well done. Some others said they thought the plot was a bit slow until the back 1/4. It is. But that is the sort of book this is. It's not trying to be super angsty or action packed, it's a very realistic first romance and a story about a girl finding herself through that romance. I appreciated that the characters are actually in love for most of the story, instead of just working towards it for the entire book and only getting together in the last few pages. I wanted a sequel when it was finished. Really well done.
