This was an Alex Award winner and honestly, I expected more from this book than I got. I gave it three stars because it was interesting and it kept me reading until the end, but I just didn't really connect with it. I liked the way that the seemingly random episodes throughout the book al neatly tied together by the end. I also enjoyed the protagonist, Cullen. Although, now, I'm not sure if it was really his character or his name that I enjoyed more. Cullen Whitter, it is a nice name. I also liked his coming up with book titles randomly and jotting them down. Maybe I'll take up doing that myself. Overall, I enjoyed it and it was a quick read but I could take it or leave it.
