Tiger Lily

Tiger Lily - Jodi Lynn Anderson By the end I adored this book. I picked it up because it seemed like an interesting take on an old story. I was not disappointed. The prose is beautiful and the story is achingly sad and wonderful all at the same time. Its a Peter Pan retelling. Tinker Bell is the narrator, telling the story of Tiger Lily and her love for Peter Pan. It's Peter Pan with a bit of an edge. The characterization of both Peter Pan and Tiger Lily is really well done. It took a while to fully grab me, the middle part of the book was a bit disjointed, there were events but I had trouble figuring out where we were going. The writing kept me reading and the ending made it all worth it. I was hooked in the last 1/4.
